RADIANT

commissioned work for Superlofts Amsterdam

Superlofts is a concept by Marc Koehler Architects in which apartments are co-created together with future residents. Its aim is to provide people with the opportunity to create a unique and personal space to live and work. To give the central hall a similar unique appearance, Studio Sándor was asked to design a light installation.

The work uses the wall facing the street as a large canvas to project the light on. It comprises of a LED light combined with an iridescent filter to produce the radial colour gradient. An Arduino is added to introduce slow colour fades and variations in intensity to create an ever changing image
